The 3000km route!
On 1st April 2021 members of the Order of Women Freemason's lodge in Spain, Lodge La Rama Primera, commenced a virtual sponsored walk to raise money for charity.

Over the next few months members of the lodge who live in both Spain and the UK will be collectively walking nearly 3000km - the distance from Los Boliches in Spain, where their Lodge meets, to the Order's Grand Lodge in London to raise money for the Spanish charity 'ADIMI' and OWF Grand Lodge charities.

In just 11 days they walked a total of 819km and were nearing Northern Spain - see their route below. No injuries have been incurred, much fun with laughter along the way and stunning places have been visited including the impressive city of Toledo with its long history of the Knights Templar and their Temples – a delight for all things masonic - https://toledospain.click/templars-in-toledo/
Below, a selection of walkers in their finest glory, socially distanced yet united together in a common goal:
The Order of Women Freemasons is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Prince Philip this morning who was married to Her Majesty the Queen for 73 years. We extend our sincere condolences to Her Majesty and all members of the Royal Family on the loss of a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

His Royal Highness became a Freemason with the United Grand Lodge of England in 1952 at the age of 31 and remained a member until his death earlier today.
