On 23rd June 2022 members of the Order of Women Freemasons on the Isle of Wight represented the Order at the "Celebration of the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant" at Cowes Masonic Centre, in the presence of the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight Brigadier Sheen CBE QVRM TD DL.
The Covenant represents the commitment to ensure that no member of the Armed Forces Commuity should face disadvantage within the Freemasons organisation. This was signed, at United Grand Lodge of England's Freemasons Hall in London, by the Duke of Kent on behalf of the Freemasons and Major General Graham on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
On Saturday 4th June 2022 hundreds of members of The Order of Women Freemasons gathered in Birmingham for the Enthronement Ceremony of The Most Worshipful Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother Zuzanka Penn.
This was the first Enthronement Meeting since the start of the pandemic and members were pleased to see Most Worshipful Brother Penn continue as Grand Master for another year. The members congratulated the Most Worshipful Master for her unfailing commitment to the Order and for her guidance and support throughout the pandemic.

During the ceremony The Most Worshipful Grand Master appointed and invested the Grand Lodge Officers and conferred Honours on a number of members in recognition of their commitment to Freemasonry ... some for the hard work they undertake within their own Lodges and others for supporting the running of the Order of Women Freemasons.

After a wonderful weekend of smiles and friendships members of The Order of Women Freemasons returned home already looking forward to the same time next year.

The Doris Jones Memorial Lodge No 300 recently met for the first time since 2019.
The Lodge was formed in 1978 and was set up to fulfil the wish of the late Grand Master, MW Bro Mary Gordon Muirhead Hope, who wanted a research Lodge in memory of Doris Grace Jones.

Doris Grace Jones was a member of Lodge Harmony No 4 and for many decades after the war she worked for the American Relief Society providing invaluable stability to the Society and providing social and financial advice to American citizens in the United Kingdom - many thousands of people were in her debt.

Although not all in attendance to the Doris Jones Memorial Lodge has over 1000 members and meets over two weekends twice a year at various locations throughout the United Kingdom. The recent meeting was held at St Barnabas Masonic Hall in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
During the Platinum Jubilee year The Order of Women Freemasons is raising money for charities of which the Queen is Patron.
Many activities are taking place within lodges and by individual members – congratulations to Bro Keith from Lodge Diligence in Loughton, Essex, on her contribution to the fundraising efforts by running in the Marlow 5 mile run, completing in 49 minutes. Well done!
Representatives from The Order of Women Freemasons Lodges in Lincolnshire recently attended a memorial service to remember fellow members who had died during the Covid pandemic.
Representatives of The Order of Women Freemasons’ Lodges in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Lincoln are pictured with The Provincial Grand Master for Lincolnshire Rt W Bro David Wheeler. The ladies were guests of the Province at their memorial service on St George’s Day to remember all those brethren from Lincolnshire who had died during the Covid pandemic.

It was an honour for our members to attend.
The Order of Women Freemasons is delighted to add a new Lodge to their long list of Lodges located throughout the United Kingdom and abroad. The new lodge, Lodge Filey Bay, is number 361 on the Register and was consecrated in Filey, Yorkshire, on Saturday 7th May 2022.
After the meeting a meal was held to celebrate the occasion of which the new Worshipful Master said “the happiness of the occasion was evident on everyone’s face in the room. It was indeed a very special day and will live in everyone’s memory for all time”.

Lodge Filey Bay will meet five times a year at Filey Masonic Hall.
The Worshipful Master of Lodge St Barnabas No. 234 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, recently asked the members of her Lodge to support her in collecting medical suppies, food, waters and other items for humanitarian relief for the people of the Ukraine.
In the true spirit of charity, the members of the Lodge rallied around and these are just some of the medical supplies generously donated which will go towards helping the people of the Ukraine.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of the Ukraine.

The Grand Master of the Order of Women Freemasons, Most Worshipful Brother Zuzanka Penn, announced at this weekend's Grand Lodge meeting that the Order of Women Freemasons will be donating £50,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to help the people of Ukraine.
It is wonderful to see that after two long years, on 15th February 2022, Lodge Flame Lily No. 338 in South Africa return to lodge meetings with their first meeting initiating a candidate who had been patiently waiting to join. Congratulations and welcome to the Order of Women Freemasons.
Lodge Sir Fon No. 137 recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. The occasion was made very special by the company of The Most Worshipful The Grand Master and the Grand Director of Ceremonies. With many younger brethren taking active office the members of Sir Fon are looking forward to a very happy and successful year.
