An amazing number of members of The Order of Women Freemasons travelled from all parts of the United Kingdom - from Scotland to Plymouth and all the areas in between - to attend The Order of Women Freemason's Spanish Lodge's annual installation ceremony.

A splendid day saw W Bro Sally Mason OGR installed as Worshipful Master of Lodge La Rama Primera for the year 2025-26. As W Bro Mason lives in Yorkshire a large contingent of women flew across to Spain to be part of the day.

W Bro Mason has a long and integral involvement with the Lodge as she was a founder member when it was consecrated 20 years ago - she was also the Lodge's first Secretary.

Congratulations W Bro Mason - have a brilliant year as Master!
Members of Lodge Gordon No 49 in Stoke recently presented a cheque to the directors of Chit Chat 4 U, a charity which supports those affected by knife crime in the Stoke on Trent area.

Charitable giving and service to others is a fundamental principle and aim of a freemason.
The members of Lodge Felicity No 36, Wroxham, recently presented a cheque to Mrs Anne Thorley, the founder and chairperson of The Norfolk Reading Project. The money was raised by the fundraising efforts of the lodge during the year 2023-24.

Mrs Thorley gratefully received the donation which will be used to purchase a much needed new laptop.
Members of the Order of Women Freemasons, United Grand Lodge of England and Honorable Fraternity of Antient Freemasons recently came together for a ‘Discovering Freemasonry’ event held at the UGLE Grand Lodge building in Great Queen Street, London. The event was attended by 300 Freemasons and their friends/partners who are interested in becoming a Freemason.

At a recent Quarterly Communications meeting at Grand Lodge, Rt W Bro Jean Knight was nominated by the current Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother Zuzanka Penn, as The Order of Women Freemason’s new Grand Master for 2025-2026.

Rt W Bro Knight was initiated into Lodge St Edmundsbury No 93 in 1987 and is currently a Grand Inspector looking after the Order's members in Norfolk and Suffolk and is active in many of the Lodges in her area.

On her nomination Rt W Bro Knight said “I feel extremely privileged to have been nominated, as the successor of one of the most inspiring and accomplished Grand Masters of the 21st century”.

Rt W Bro Knight will be installed as Grand Master of the Order of Women Freemasons at the annual Enthronement meeting to be held in June.
